From the mountain to the tap, this classroom presentation offers an overview of the supply, collection, treatment and distribution of water in Colorado Springs. Students help build and map the Colorado Springs' water supply from as far away as the western slope. An appreciation of water with ways to conserve are reinforced through activities, a self-assessment and take-home information.This presentation is intended for students grades 6-8. Parents are welcome to stay for the presentation and are required to remain with children ages 11 and under. Please register each student for this event.
