Join us for some after-school laughter. Dress in your favorite costume (nothing gory or grotesque, please) and come prepared to read your favorite humorous poem or funny excerpt from your favorite book. (The costume doesn’t have to match the reading.) Those who would like to add a dramatic flair may act out a short, amusing skit. (Performances need to be limited to no more than five minutes in length.) Prizes will be awarded for the funniest performance/recitation and for the funniest costume. All participants will receive a candy treat. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required. This activity is for those in grades 4th through 8th.
