This program explores the growth of industry across the state of Colorado from 1850 to present day. Using objects, photographs and clues, students will discover six industries around a large floor map of Colorado, exploring the history and impact of each industry. Students become “experts” on one of the following industries: Flour Mills, Mining, Saddlery and Spurs, Ice, Millinery and Dressmaking, Sugar Beets
